I am the Devine Guidance LLC Owner and clinician. I have worked in private practice for over 25 years. I am a lifespan counselor and registered play therapist supervisor specializing in children, teens and women issues. I am dedicated to supporting and empowering clients in a safe and non-judgmental space and am committed to a collaborative approach with you and/or your family to achieve your goals. My expertise is grounded in my curiosity, open mind, sense of humor, comfort with a wide range of emotions, ability to laugh when things are difficult, and learning from getting it wrong as a parent myself. I live day in and day out with 4 of my most influential teachers: my husband and quickly growing children. In addition, I also have lots of education and specialized training to be your expert support. My bachelor and master's level education and training in psychology is a solid foundation for understanding human behavior, development, and the systems that influence our day to day lives. My love for working with kids, play, and creativity made pursuing the additional training in play therapy and ongoing professional development as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, a natural step as I discovered my area of expertise. I provide parenting consultation and to organizations and caregivers to learn practical ways to establish and maintain functional communication, engage their children's and loved ones' cooperation, nurture healthy family relationships, and create a life at home that is fulfilling, rewarding, and sustainable. My approach uses techniques to equip parents with tools to support their children’s emotional needs and strengthen the parent-child relationship. I find my background in Collegiate Athletics, Yoga, and Reiki are suited to those who seek a holistic approach to healing.
